SAP FICO Consultant

Job Responsibilities
  1. Analyze and gather business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO configuration and solutions within SAP S/4HANA.
  2. Configure and support Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) business processes.
  3. Work on core FI components including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
  4. Support CO components including:
    • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
    • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
    • Internal Orders
    • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  5. Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
  6. Support system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  7. Assist in data migration and user training during project implementations.
  8. Provide production support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO related issues.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as MM, SD, and Basis for system integrations.
  10. Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration documents, and user manuals.
Required Skill Set
  1. 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO, preferably with SAP S/4HANA exposure.
  2. Strong knowledge of SAP FI modules:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
  3. Good understanding of SAP CO modules:
    • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
    • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
    • Internal Orders
    • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  4. Knowledge of integration between FI/CO and other modules such as MM and SD.
  5. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance features.
  6. Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps related to Finance is an advantage.
  7. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
  9. Exposure to SAP Activate or Agile project methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Certifications
  1. SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA for Financial Accounting Associates
  2. SAP Certified Application Associate – Management Accounting with SAP ERP
Education
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Master’s degree such as MBA (Finance) or M.Com is an added advantage.
  3. Professional certifications like CA, CMA, or CPA (intermediate or completed) will be considered a plus.
  4. SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance or Management Accounting is preferred.
