Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PPQM Consultant – Sr with strong knowledge in Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate will support SAP implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects while ensuring efficient production planning and quality processes within SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in end-to-end SAP PP implementations, rollouts, and support engagements.
  2. Analyze business requirements related to production planning and map them to SAP PP functionalities.
  3. Configure SAP PP modules including:
    • Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Routing & Work Centers
    • Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
    • Production Order Management
    • Demand Management & Capacity Planning
  4. Support day-to-day production processes including order execution, shop floor control, and confirmations.
  5. Collaborate with MM, SD, QM, and PM modules for integration and process alignment.
  6. Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and user training materials.
  7. Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.
  8. Support master data maintenance related to materials, BOMs, routings, and work centers.
  9. Work closely with business users to optimize processes and align with industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP module, preferably in S/4HANA environments.
  • Strong understanding of production planning processes such as Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO).
  • Experience in configuring MRP runs and production orders.
  • Basic understanding of shop floor integration and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications related to PP (desirable).
  • Experience working with integrated modules such as MM, SD, QM, and PM.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Additional SAP functional training or certification is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Production Planning & Manufacturing (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in manufacturing industry projects.
  • Exposure to S/4HANA production planning innovations and Fiori applications.
